Coaching Package with Wee-Yeong Eyou Executive Director of MIOMO
The purpose of coaching is to:
– Help parents facilitate the growth, maturity and ultimately independence of their young adult;
– Coach young adults to grow in their independence and ability to be competitive in the world, with good character. This is done using the tools and principles taught on MIOMO.
Note: Even though I have successfully coached hundreds of young people and their families, I am not a qualified counsellor or coach.
Process:
• Prior to the first coaching session, I will request for a written synopsis of the situation and the client’s view as to what they want to achieve from the coaching.
• We request that clients take notes during our time together as we will ask clients to write us a summary of the session – what you heard and what actions you will take from our discussion. This is hugely beneficial to making progress and getting the results you want.
• Full payment is due before the first session.

Some Feedback :
Coaching a parent:
“Thanks so much WY for the tips you shared which really helped me start an important conversation for the first time with my teenage son who is navigating the new world of relationships with girls. We have never talked about this before as we had no idea how to bring it up even though we knew he needed some guidance. We were so afraid he would shut down and shut us out. But your tips on how to start such tricky conversations, ensuring we do it respectfully, asking for their views, assuring them we love them, will not judge them, and ultimately want to support them through whatever they are facing really helped. I was so surprised and relieved he was receptive, shared his views and now we can keep the conversation going and check in occasionally”.
Coaching a teen:
“Thank you so much for mentoring our son. He has had a big year and I know the support and encouragement you have given him has meant a lot and really contributed to his development. We both really appreciate you building into his life”.
